I want to get a soil test done, what is involved?
You can contact us below in the contact form and we can put you in direct contact with one of our many distributers and they can arrange to organise the soil test to be taken and sent off to the accredited laboratory that we deal with.
Is there an optimum time of the year that I should do a soil test?
Soil testing can be done at any stage of the year but ideally it should be completed during the Autumn/Winter months at least 8 weeks after the last fertilliser or manure application.
What kind of Soil Test does Plant and Soil Solutions offer?
We offer a range of Soil tests, from the most comprehensive Albrecht Soil Test through to more basic base saturation Soil tests which can include trace element testing. Organic matter can also be included in any of our soil tests.
How long will it take to receive my soil test results back?
Generally it should take three weeks to receive your results back.
After receiving my soil test results, what happens then?
When we receive your test results, we will complete a tailored recommendation for the specific crop that has been grown.
What is the advantage of doing a comprehensive soil test on my farm?
Our comprehensive soil tests provide significantly more information on a broad range of minerals and trace elements than a standard index test. It also allows you to tailor your crop nutritional programme and improve the long-term sustainability of your soils.
Have you a product range to help correct some of the deficiencies on my farm?
Plant and Soil Solutions offers a range of natural seaweed based bio stimulants, foliar and granular crop trace elements and a selection of biological products.
What crops does Plant and Soil Solutions cater for?
Plant and Soil Solutions have worked with a variety of crops ranging from grassland, cereals, potatoes and vegetables to Christmas trees, daffodils and pumpkins. We are constantly catering for new crops and developing new growing ideas for existing crops.

We have a network of distributors throughout Ireland who sell our range of products. We can be contacted directly through our Contact Us section to direct you to your nearest distributor.

Are any of your products organically approved?
Yes, we have a range of seaweed and biological products that are approved for use with the Irish Organic Association.
